DEPENDS ON THE HANDS

A basketball in my hands is worth about $19. A basketball in Michael Jordan's hands is worth about $33 million. It depends whose hands it's in.

A baseball in my hands is worth about $6. A baseball in Roger Clemens' hands is worth $4.75 million. It depends on whose hands it's in.

A tennis racket is useless in my hands. A tennis racket in Andre Agassi's hands is worth millions. It depends whose hands it's in.

A rod in my hands will keep away an angry dog.A rod in Moses' hands will part the mighty sea. It depends whose hands it's in.

A slingshot in my hands is a kid's toy. A slingshot in David's hand is a mighty weapon. It depends whose hands it's in.

Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in my hands is a couple of fish sandwiches. Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in Jesus' hands will feed thousands. It depends whose hands it's in.

Nails in my hands might produce a birdhouse. Nails in Jesus Christ's hands produced salvation for the entire world. It depends whose hands it's in.

As you see now, it depends whose hands it's in. So put your concerns, your worries, your fears, your hopes, your dreams, your families and your relationships in God's hands because... It depends whose hands it's in.

Easter Eggs

Last night, after Greg fell asleep (early, I might add) I sat and played around with some ribbon and this is what I made. I took the directions for another ribbon project and made them work for my idea. The result was a bunny clip. I really like how it turned out. Sorry the pics are alittle blurry but the camera is on its last leg.

What it looks like in her hair

A straight on shot... the peach bunny has two peach ears lined with pink ribbon and a cute purple girly bow.

Liliana's new skill, pulling herself up on her knees

So proud of herself. We have been working everyday to strengthen her legs. It's starting to pay off.

9 colors +18 eggs +2 kids = 1 Giant mess and loads of fun!

This is how you do it Liliana

Looking all adorable with the egg

Plop!

Is this one done yet?

I think it should go in here next.

The face of a little girl who is cutting two more teeth, oh the agony!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Greg is very Irish and I have some Irish heritage on my Mom's side so we usually enjoy celebrating the day. but alas with two children it just isn't going to happen this year. Maybe we'll have a green beer or two. Today is a special day for Greg and I. After meeting Greg in a bar (scandalous I know), we had our first date on St Patty's Day. Since I did meet him in a bar and I am a smart girl I took a friend with me on our first date. Greg took us to a St Patty's day party and well the rest is history. We have been together 7 years today. I thank God everyday that he lead Greg and I to each other.

Today also marks Liliana being home one month. If I'm being honest, then I'd have to say that this past month has been a truly difficult one. Toby has finally settled down, except for nighttime but we're getting there. Liliana has gone from hours of crying to just crying when she's really tired. I still have not figured out what she needs when she needs it but I'm getting better. This child also never naps unless I'm holding her and that is not really a viable option so she is tired alot. I might see a different child if she weren't. We are just beginning to develop that Mother-child bond that is so important. She'll now smile when I come in the room and she'll sometimes fuss when I leave it. She also will only sleep for me which is also good.On a scale from 1-10 I'd say we're at a 5 or 6, which isn't bad cause we were probably at a 1 or 2. I'm pointing this out because I know that there will be someone that comes to this blog to see what it's like after coming home and I want to portray our family life realistically, so the bad with all the good. And so that family knows that this is a work in progress and it does not happen over night, so all the thing I ask of you are important. Also family and friends we would LOVE for you to visit us whenever you get a chance. I'd really appreciate a day's notice for visits but I'd be happy to see any of you whenever. Oh and I couldn't pass this up....too funny....

Children's Museum

Greg had a random day off today, so we loaded up and went to the Children's Museum. Toby had a BLAST!!! He hasn't been there for a year and he really got into it this time. He could participate in all the activities. it was so much fun to watch him explore the things around him. Liliana was content to be held for the most part until later in the day when it was finally safe to let her crawl. After driving home we went to dinner at Appplebee's and then did alittle Walmart shopping. I wish Greg had more random days off this was GREAT!! Picture diclaimer: My camera is on its way out it seems so some of the pictures are really clear and others not so much. Hoping to get a new camera in the next couple of weeks. Until then you will have to bear with me. Before we even left the house.... she crashed as we were finishing getting ready.

Enjoying pushing random button combinations without getting yelled at :)

Playing with a replica of the Trolley (The museum has replicas of Mister Rogers Neighbborhood which was filmed in Pittsburgh. In fact when I was younger we visited the studio a couple of times. Mister Rogers was my favorite.)

Daddy and Toby playing dualing puppets.

I wonder what's in here?

Mommy and Liliana

Playing the really neat as Daddy called it "plinko drum." You dropped rocks in the drum and it made beautiful sounds as it hit the metal bars inside it.

Driving the car in the "Garage" section of the museum. It took alot to get him to try something else becuse this boys LOVES to drive.

Showing Daddy the car parts

Row, Row, Row your boat

Playing dress-up in the Vietnamese Round Boat

The antigravity room... just looking at the picture makes me sick

Trains!

Playing in the rice table

Liliana being attacked by the dinosaur

The light table was covered with colored sand. Toby and I had loads of fun playing with it.

Enjoying some of her own play time

The third floor is nothing but water play with three giant pools and a spot where water comes out of the floor and you can route it different places using pipes. Very cool!

Scooping water to make the wheel spin

Mommy why do I have to sit here while Toby gets to have all the fun?

What? Me? Splash? Never!!!

Daddy and Liliana

Laughing at the boy next to him. He was making the fish "jump" in the air.

Hanging on the Trolley

Henrietta Pussy cat, err, I mean Liliana talking to....

X the Owl ... I mean Toby

Checking out the drums in the bottom of the player piano. Which incidently played Mister Rogers songs
Crashed! He nearly fell asleep with a french fry in his mouth that's how tired he was.

Because he ate his leftover lunch in the car after he woke up, we let him get an oreo sundae at Applebee's. He was in his glory! The boy loves ice cream.

Liliana cuteness to end with
