He'll Make Her Happy

If you're my "friend" on facebook then you've seen these pictures. For those of you that aren't, this post is for you. Over the weekend I was the Matron of Honor in my best friend's wedding. The ceremony and the reception was beautiful. She looked gorgeous and he looked handsome....and great fun was had by all. I was very honored to be a part of it. Here are a few of my favorites and if you'd like to see more let me know in the comments section.
The Happy Couple

Don't they look so happy? Love you guys...CONGRATS!!!!

This is what happened when we tried to get a family picture. Funny huh?

The wedding party minus the groomsmen...they were taking the picture

My rare blessing: The 3 of us have been friends and stayed friends since High School (Des and me since middle school). They are my closest friends...I would be lost without them in my life!
The title quoted one of my favorite songs, ever. Here are the rest of the lyrics....does anyone know what they're from?

He'll make me happy each time I see him. He'll be the reason my heart can sing. He'll stand beside me and I'll have everything.
She'll make me happy each time I hold her. And I will follow where my heart may lead. And she'll be all I'll ever need
She'll make him happy now and forever until forever their love will grow
She only knows he'll make her happy that's all she needs to know.
They'll be so happy now and forever until forever their love will grow-
I only knowHe'll make me happy that's all I

The Wilds

Greg took Monday and Tuesday off this week. So Monday we went to the middle of Ohio to enjoy The Wilds. It's a zoological park that is set up like a safari. You take a bus (or an expensive open air vechicle) on a safari tour. There are four stops to get out and "explore." At the Lake stop you get out and walk the trails down to the lake to feed the swans and the catfish. While you are waiting for the next shuttle you can watch the giraffes and the wild horses that are literally feet away from you through the fence. Very Cool. Next stop was the Wetlands...we choose not to do this stop cause it was more walking and every time Lili's feet hit the pavement she acted like her legs were broken. They do have a tour guide there that will take you through the trails and show you all the neat stuff. The next stop is the Mid Size canivore center. It was also neat but I was expecting more animals there. They only have three species on exhibit but the way you view them from the decks and fences is pretty cool. And the kids loved it here. They last stop was the Outpost Lookout. There you can watch the Rhino and the types of Antelope graze and interact....and they can get really close which is also cool. The kids had the most fun here looking at all the skulls and antlers and fur. Inbetween each of these stops is fields with the different animals that you drive through. All in all it was a really great day and the kids (who I thought would be bored on the shuttle for so long) loved it and they loved spotting the animals. Enjoy the photos.

My Favorite thing we's in the slide show but I wanted you to be able to read it.

Father's Day

Father's Day was great around here. We started off the day by going to Church and lunch with Greg's parents. No pictures....forgot I had the camera and I was awfully tired still (only four hours of sleep due to a Bachelorette Party). Then we came home and later in the day had my parents, brother, and Godfather out for dinner. David and me took care of everything while Daddy and Greg hung out and played with the kids. It was very nice. Here are the pictures I did get....with my NEW camera. (I found out my camera would cost quite a bit to fix, as much as a new camera really so I found one I liked).

I am so lucky to have great men in my life and the lives of my children!

FFF: Liliana

For the rest of June we get to pick our own FFF. These are definately my favorite from this week. Monday (on Lili's actual bday) I brought in the leftover cake to our ususal night at NaNa's. The result was....well you can see what the result was...a total, happy mess.

Happy Birthday Liliana!!!

When I was looking for songs, I thought of this one. I know it's not a completely perfect fit, but the the last line "You gave your love away, and I'm thankful everyday for the gift" is perfection. We had a rough start but we have given each other our hearts and let the other one in and you just completely fill me up with happiness. Happy Birthday My Little Princess! You have blessed Mommy, Daddy, and Toby's lives so much. Te Amo MUCHO!!!!

FFF: Out

This week's theme is out, so I did pick OUTside pictures. They are from last year however since the camera is still broken. They have grown so much in a year's time. Liliana was still crawling this time last year and now she's running everywhere! My sweet baby girl days away from being 1.

My big helper boy acting just like his Daddy cleaning the yard.

I also wanted to let everyone know that I AM reading all the blogs everytime they are updated. But I have updated to the new internet explorer and everytime I want to comment it gives me some new annoying window that I have to fix. I hate it! I also really dislike word verification so... I am reading, I'm just not always commenting due to frustrations and time.

Sorry for the lack of pictures. On memorial day one of the kiddos jumped on my lap and the camera fell to the ground. It was only a couple of inches but it was enough the bust the shutter cover off. The camera stills works but I don't want it to break any more than it already is, so I'm not taking pictures until it's fixed. So to apease (sp?) the men in my life.....Hi Daddy and Greg...I'm posting a couple of pics. Such a big girl

My ornery boy

A couple of the cute things the kids now say......
Liliana: A-prise (surprise) said with much enthusiasm
No, that's mine
no, no, no while shaking her finger
meow, meow, meow, meow (the friskies song)
bees (cheerios)
Toby: I talk spanish
me: what do you say in spanish
Toby: Iguana
me: laughing
Toby: I get bigger, I have coffee
Yes your majesty (to me)
Shoo fly don't bother me (to anything bugging him)
