must be a day at the Pittsburgh Zoo. Yesterday was one of those rare spring days where it was 72 and sunny. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to use our expiring zoo pass and take a trip to the zoo. We spent 4 and a half wonderful hours exploring the zoo and playing. It was awesome. Toby was all about taking a look and then dragging us to the next animal, but Liliana likes to watch the animals for awhile. So I used it as an oppportunity to talk with him about the animals which he seemed to enjoy and he'd linger alittle longer at each animal. Some of our favorite activities yesterday were our picnic lunch and seeing a ton of snakes (they weren't part of an exhibit but instead were about 20-30 strong on the hillside next to the walkway sunning themselves, socializing, and mating. It was really awesome). Our very favorite part was meeting a new friend named Sarah in the kid's play area. Toby and Lili played with her for 40 minutes while me and Sarah's mommy sat it talked. It was a nice breather for me who had been pulling 60+ pounds around in a wagon all day (and Pittsburgh's not flat). Can't wait to do it all again....we had SO MUCH FUN!
For more FFF (which was suppose to be beach today...I haven't been to the beach in five years) go to Sarah's Blog http://kissthefrog4me.blogspot.com/

Great pics!! Looks like you had lots of fun!!
Great pictures of your adorable kids. We love going to our MN Zoo but until the weather warms up, we just do the indoor exhibits. Looking forward to warmer weather!
I feel like I've had an intense workout after a day at the zoo with my kids. Pushing a stroller all over creation is a lot harder than it looks!
What fun. Cute cute pictures.
