Two things:
1. Lili's DNA arrived at the lab today and is finaling being processed. They will ship it back to Guatemala next week and we should get our appointment dates the following week. As of today they have pretty much booked all the appointments for January, so it's looking like February. Bummer, BUT she is coming home SOON!!
2. I added new music. My taste is very ecletic, so it's a variety. There would have been an even bigger variety but for the life of my I couldn't remeber who sings some of my favorite songs. So you get what you get. Feel free to mute it or choose your favorite from the list to listen to. It's at the bottom of the page. And let me know what you think.
As always, Love to all our family and friends (and even my blog readers) who have supported us through all this. We will very soon be at the end of our journey. For now. ;)

Just call him Hans
Mimi made him the adorable hat and sweater set. When added to the coveralls he looks like he should be climbing the Alps.
His idea of avoiding the picture, too bad he looks so stinking cute like this.
Hmm, I wonder how he'd look in liederhosson?
Peek...I see you Mommy...Hahaha
Enjoying his Blue's Clues banana yogurt, a new fav in our house
Enjoying the BEAUTIFUL 68 degree weather today. I wish it was here to stay.
Cool Tricks. Notice his feet. My boy is very skilled.
Trying to avoid the sticks (on the ground and otherwise)

Happy Birthday to the BEST Mommy EVER!
And I mean it! My Mom is a terriffic, caring, very giving, understanding person. Her goal was to make us the same and though we have tried, I don't think we'll ever be as good at it as she is. She has taught me the kind of Mommy I want to be and I try very hard every day to be like her. My Mom came to every function I ever had, including every football game even though I was only the trainer. She listened to my problems and never made them seem small. We fought like crazy through my teenage years, but she would never let me or her stay mad. And even though I am a Daddy's Girl, I most certainly always needed my mommy just as much. She is also a riot. She has broken wooden spoons when trying to be "mean" only to make us laugh. She has surfed on the dining room table at New Years, taken me out for my 21st and my bachlorette party. She was the kind of Mom that I actually wanted to take with me and my friends places and she is now my Best Friend. Oh, and she is the BEST NaNa. I love you Mommy and I hope you have a GREAT day and an even better Year. Here are just a few of the pictures I have of my Mom. I spared you Mom...cause you know I have some doozies! ; )

Wow What a Day
Toby's new musical potty. I bought this tonight cause Toby has been interested and he LOVES any musical so I thought it would be an incentive. I figured he could just sit on it whenever he felt like it and I wouldn't push. Well while I was changing him for bed he decided he wanted to try it. I told him if he peed it would play music, well that was all it took. He got up and down for 15 minutes and then he peed and it played. He was so excited. He kept going on and off for another 15 minutes. i was in the bathroom forever! Even more exciting then the music was getting to help me put it in the toliet and washing his hands. I guess we'll see what tomorrow brings. He is getting SO big!
We also went Ikea-ing. Toby loves Ikea and he had to pint out all the stuff that is in his room. We bought a new duvet cover for our bed and an alternative down comforter to put in his duvet cover to help keep him warmer at night. He really enjoyed snuggling up in it. If I can ever get the upstairs cleaned (to the point where I'd be willing to show the rest of the world) I'll show you what they look like.
